Current Projects
Malvern Technology Network
The MTN is based on the simple idea that we can improve our local community, economy and our own businesses and careers through local collaboration.
The MTN is aiming to act as a catalyst for that collaboration by creating a range of events for those interested or involved in the technology sector in the Malvern area.
Simovate
Working closely with Worcestershire’s LEP and the Worcestershire 5G testbed, Simovate was a recent graduate from the BetaDen technology accelerator programme.
Utelize
At Utelize, we help CIO’s and IT teams to quickly take control of their mobile devices and connectivity, ensuring that the right mobile services and technologies are deployed on flexible and cost effective terms.
Using our proven tools, processes and extensive portfolio of network services, our Virtual Mobile Manager (VMM) Service typically helps our customers to drive out 20-30% from their mobile budget – often enabling IT leaders to fully fund their mobile security programmes without the need to find new budget.
Mobliciti
At Mobliciti, I’ve helped Shane Taylor and his excellent senior management team to develop an award winning Managed Mobility Service specialising in the legal and financial service sectors.
Mobliciti’s mobile and cloud focused portfolio of managed services helps their clients to identify and remove excess costs, brings total control, visibility and security over mobile devices and corporate data as well as guiding CIO’s through the pros and cons of different mobile strategies and technologies (e.g. BYOD vs Corporate Devices).
Solar Learning Labs
Large businesses globally spend billions each year on IT hardware and Mobile technologies, however much of this equipment is never recycled or put to good use when it’s no longer required. Working with Computer Aid and Dell Technologies, our team has created a simple innovative solution that enables our clients to securely gift their unwanted technology in a way that makes a real difference in the world by funding the Solar Learning Labs project.
When a device is gifted, Utelize completes a certified data wipe to remove any corporate data and then sells the device to the 2nduser market. All of the proceeds from these sales are then donated directly to the Solar Learning Labs project; helping to fund solar powered digital learning centres in the poorest communities in the world bringing a chance for children and adults the chance to learn Digital Skills and access the Internet. I’m passionate about this amazing cause and would be delighted to discuss any opportunities that can help.
